We’re excited to announce the continuation of our successful partnership with A&M Hospitality Group to develop the brand and website for their upcoming restaurant, Terra Mare.

Terra Mare is inspired by Puglia, a region in southeastern Italy and the birthplace of Head Chef, Franco. A contemporary and elegant restaurant, serving modern, authentic and experimental cuisine — The way Italian food should be served! 

The name, which translates to "Land and Sea," reflects the restaurant's focus on the fresh, seasonal ingredients synonymous with the Puglia region. This ethos will be central to the brand identity, which will have a modern and inviting aesthetic to match the food and atmosphere of the new restaurant.

When Daf came to us with this opportunity we were thrilled. Since our first ever meeting with AMH, we felt their passion for what they wanted to achieve in South Wales and beyond. Their vision for creating unique dining concepts that bring new and authentic regional cuisine to local customers is unmatched. We’re excited to see the Terra Mare concept come to life from brand through to plate.

Drawing inspiration from the Puglia region of Italy, the new logo is based on the iconic octagonal shape of one of the areas key landmarks—Castle Del Monte. Further details include a floral element inspired by the castle's arches and traditional Italian ceramic tiles, symbolising the natural, locally sourced ingredients.

Accompanying the logo is a full visual brand which is currently being rolled out ahead of launch. Keep an eye out for our full case study coming soon.

Toward captured the essence of Terra Mare’s food, culture, and story, turning it into a visual identity that resonates with our influences of the Puglia region. It's not just about a logo or colour scheme — They helped create an experience that starts before guests even walk through our doors.
