This week has been a manic one (as usual). We've been working on branding for a really exciting new client, hoarding for a housing development, sitemaps and website concepts for 3 new clients. Plus we've also been working on a internal system to help us track projects and clients more efficiently. On top of a full work schedule we also had some really interesting meetings, including one that will go down in Toward history as the most unusual yet! We also made some time to help a lovely student from Glamorgan University who is basing a case study on us.
And all of this whilst Rob our Studio Manager has been swanning around Los Angeles on holiday (more on this later). We were also without Mike for part of Thursday as he was out 'networking' with a bunch of clients and business contacts – we later heard this was to celebrate 'Brains Day' - They're just making stuff up now! Mike has also been putting in some serious mileage on his bike as he prepares for his mammoth ride from north to south Wales. The 'Whose Bright Idea Was This' team are doing really well so far, raising almost £8,500 already. He even had a bit of local press in the South Wales Argus about it. Excitement in the studio reached its peak on Tuesday when our friends from Signs Express Cardiff arrived with our shiny new logo sign and custom white board. Last year we updated our logo a little so it was time to update our signage in the studio.
For the signage geeks: The new sign is made from 10mm gloss black laser cut acrylic and is mounted on 20mm locators to create a stood off look. It does look pretty damn sexy (even if we say so ourselves). At the same time we had a giant custom made, white backed, clear acrylic whiteboard installed all ready for Rob's return (he does love a good white board!)
So another brilliant week almost done and dusted. Onward and upward!
