Hello everyone! Firstly we'd just like to say sorry for not blogging for almost 4 weeks. It’s unusual for us not to blog every week and hopefully you’ve been keeping up with us on Twitter, but we fell victim to the old cliché of being too busy - yeah we know that sounds a bit lame... so rather than make excuses, we thought we’d tell you what’s been happening that’s stopped us from blogging this month.
Firstly we’ve had a moment or two in the spotlight thanks to two well known magazines. Tom was featured in last month’s issue of .Net Magazine taking part in their build off and Toward were featured in the current issue of Computer Arts Magazine with our rebrand work for Subzero Ice Cream.
Our entries in this years Cardiff Design Festival
It’s great for us to be part of the wider design world but we also like to contribute to the local community too, so this year we submitted two entries into the Cardiff Design Festival Awards, our branding for the Jamie Baulch Academy and our website for Eupal. Last year we were thrilled to win the award for best packaging!
We’ve been making great progress with a number of projects including a new Dubai based client, a worldwide shipping agent, a botox training organisation, a church and a self assessment tax return service – all of which we hope to be blogging about and adding to our portfolio in the coming weeks as the projects wrap up.
We’ve also been kept busy with continued service to some of our long term clients with a nice range of projects for The Seren Group, DS Smith Recycling, PHS and Scottish and Southern Energy.
In other studio news we are heading to Bristol on Thursday as supporters of Insites. This is a week long tour where top web professionals share their stories in informal and friendly surroundings. Toward have contributed to the food and drink fund for the Bristol leg of the tour and we’re looking forward to attending and no doubt being inspired.
In the last couple of weeks, we've become involved in a really exciting new business network. We can't say too much at the moment, as it launches on Friday at Chepstow races, but we'll be blogging about it next week, so be sure to check back then.
Oh and we're really excited to have just booked our tickets for New Adventures in Web Design conference in January 2012!
