What is Working Wardrobe?
Moxie People often see and recognise people in a position where getting a job is especially difficult, in ways that others might take for granted. Things like transport, technology and clothing pose a barrier for many.
In a nutshell, Working Wardrobe is a project created to help people get a head start on their career by kitting them out with interview clothing.
Working Wardrobe will be operating from a number of hubs across Cardiff, Caerphilly, Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynnon Taff.
Who’s working behind the scenes?
This project has been made possible by the hard work of a handful of organisers including housing associations and charities:
And Toward of course!
Why we’re supporting this
Fundamentally, we believe that everyone deserves to have a job they love, and to feel comfortable and confident while doing it.
By supporting Working Wardrobe we feel like we’re helping to break down the barriers people face when looking for fulfilling work.
How you can help!
As it’s a charity, the success of Working Wardrobe relies not only on the hard work and dedication of the organisers but also on ongoing donations from businesses and individuals.
Working Wardrobe is welcoming donations of new or lightly worn clothes or financial donations. All the information is here.
If you’re not in the position to help but still want to show your support then please give Working Wardrobe some love on social media. Like, comment, share!
